~ The Cow Socks ~

I love my Cow Socks <3  

They keep my feet warm but at the same time they are one of the quirks that make me, me :)

Imagine having boring old black socks, that each time they sneak a peep at the world they remind people of dark times.

Imagine white socks, each time you wear them you can be sure they quickly turn black thanks to all the dust and dirt they gather as you go about living.

But Cow Socks :)  When people see them they have to look again to see was it their mind playing tricks or are those really socks with cows on them.  People smile at my cow socks and say nice things about them, telling me how cute they are.  It's a conversation starter, it's a way of breaking the ice, it's a way of seeing me for the individual I am.  Of course some look at me and look at the socks and shake their head.  Those people are too quick to judge and don't take enough time living.  

Cow Socks aren't just for Christmas they're for life :)

~ Today I Feel Like A Plastic Bag ~

Katy Perry put it perfectly when she sang:

"Do you ever feel like a plastic bag,
drifting through the wind,
wanting to start again?
Do you ever feel, feel so paper thin,
like a house of cards,
one blow from caving in?
Do you ever feel already buried deep?
6 feet under screams but no one seems to hear a thing,

For a long time I was buried in stress, strain, loss, hurt but right now I feel like that plastic bag, drifting through the wind.  I feel like the spark in me is reawakening.  My life isn't perfect, I've not always been the best person I could be but I am so glad for the friends and family that got me to here.  Thank you.  I hope to feel like a plastic bag for a long time to come :)

It's not often you find someone that makes you laugh, let's you cry, is there for you no matter what and can just sit in silence with you and just be there.  Good times, bad times, no matter what time zone Sand has been there.  He loves his friends so much and would do anything for them.  He is sincerely one of the most genuine people in the world and I'm blessed to have his friendship rl and sl.
